Welcome to the Pink Lady Diner!

A small diner environment made for my final year university project in Unreal Engine 5.1. Took around 5 months (200+ PBR assets) to make and features a classic 70s style American diner, worn red leather seating area with soda bar, fully functioning Wurlitzer 1015 jukebox, greasy kitchen, and toilets.

All made by me minus the HDRI skybox which was obtained from Polyhaven alongside classic 70s tunes (all cited at the end).

I used 3DSMax for primary modelling/retopoligising, ZBrush for higher detail sculpts, Substance Painter for texturing with Substance Designer for procedural TRIM sheets. Lighting, composition and assembly in Unreal Engine 5.1.  I opted for 3 renders to showcase varying times of day; busy daytimes, calm closing nightimes and the brisk morning sunset.

Due to how similar sunset and daytime can be I made a video to showcase the comparsions between daytime and nighttime.

Primarily made for renders, the scene is playable and explorable with keyboard and mouse. Physics has been enabled for some assets and they can be picked up and inspected, alongside audio playing within the diner. The jukebox also plays a variety of tunes with additional lighting and shader sync. Feel free to explore and take in the blast from a rock and roll past.

Warning: Physics are disabled for performance in other lighting modes, you can still interact with doors, cupboards and jukebox however.
